Question for the group on Thailand METVs: My wife and I are from the US, and are planning on staying in Italy for three months before visiting Thailand on an METV. Can we apply for the METV online while in Italy? We don’t want to apply for it while in the US, because our Italy portion of our trip would eat up three months of the six month visa.

I have a Thai friend who is returning to Thailand from Italy and needs a fit to fly certificate. Tere is no doctor in her town who will do it. The nearest city in Italy is Taranto. Can anyone form Italy who has come to Thailand offer any advice. TIA .(I know she does not need Covid test.)
