90 day report.

OK so that’s the first time it happened to me and I completely forgot my 90 day report (I normally receive an email reminder and add a reminder in my Google calendar, but both didn’t happen his time). I am now 2 months overdue.

I have tried to file it online anyway, and obviously got rejected. But there is a mention in bold saying:

Please contact the nearest Immigration Office in person immediately.

Am I in trouble? Looking back, I think I should have stayed quiet and not tried to fill online, but can’t change that. Is it best to go to immigration to sort it out or wait a couple of months when I need to go anyway to renew my extension of stay? Or should I just fly out of the country to reset the 90 days?

Thank you in advance.

Hello

I am currently 5 weeks overdue on my 90 day report in Chiang Mai,

My question is what happens if I just depart by air and return a few days later ( I have the 5 year thai elite visa )

Is it ( the non reporting ) picked up at the airport and I am fined ? Or is the clock just reset upon return / without a fine

Any info appreciated
