I need a certification for my wife's thai passport from the ministry of foreign affairs. Did you need an appointment to get this done?

Hey regarding obtaining a TR60 in Vietnam. I see that HCMC requires an online appointment now in order to apply for a visa, is that correct? I see the appointments are NOT available until late next week. If true and I cannot just TURN UP like before, are there any reports on Hanoi? Can I just turn up in Hanoi, since I dont want to stay in HCMC for another week just to get a visa... (yes I know other option is as US citizen a Visa Exempt also but... prefer a TR60....)

Applying for education visa in savanakhet this month coming, just checking they’re still walk ins? And is the process the same as tourist visas where you drop your passport/application forms off in the morning and then pick it up the following day in the afternoon?
