Hello. Hopefully someone can help me… I’m on holidays in Thailand and have had to get an emergency passport. The Australian embassy have told me I will have to get an ‘entry stamp’ on my new passport before I depart but no one is able to tell me if I can do this directly at the airport or whether I have to go to Thai immigration head office?! Thanks in advance

Hello @ All

Im German and have a visa stamp valid for 45 days under the bilateral agreement of the two states.

I know I can have it extended for another 45 days at an imigration office.

My question is:

Can I get this extended a 3rd time or even more times?

Does it make a difference if I exit and re enter the country?

I read something about a limitation of 90 days stay within a 180 day period, no matter if extended with visa run or inside thailand.

Thanks for clarifying.

Hi there! I'm on Ko Samui right now under visa exemption stamp until 29 January.

I would like to extend my stay to 60 days by "COVID extension stamp".

1. What a correct reason should i fill in the immigration office form to get 60 days extension?

2. What additional documents may be required?

Thanks.
