I am a UK citizen but my main account is my NZ bank account where I deposit my income from my role as a freelancer (I have a portfolio where I can show them my work and the income I've accrued over the last few years).
This is where the bulk of my transactions have taken place as I use this to pay for subscriptions/insurance etc.
I don't use my UK bank accounts that much except for locking money away for my savings account.
I am planning to apply in Hanoi soon so I will transfer money from my UK savings account to my NZ bank account so that I have 500k before the next bank statement comes out
Will that cause any issues?
TIAπ

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is a UK citizen with a New Zealand bank account and seeks advice on transferring funds to meet the proof of funds requirement for a visa application in Hanoi. They plan to move money from their UK savings account to their NZ account to reach the necessary 500k. Responses indicate there should be no issues with this transfer as Vietnam does not have seasoning requirements for the funds, although showing a tax return based on freelance income may be necessary.
