The post discusses the upcoming waiver of visa requirements for tourists from 93 countries in Thailand, set to begin on July 15. However, there are concerns raised in the comments about the official status of this policy, with some suggesting that it may not be approved in time and advising caution for travelers expecting changes.

Few more months before approval. Don't expect it, in for a let down when you arrive and get a 30 day stamp
No, "The new visa measures, which are awaiting Cabinet approval, are expected to be a formality, according to Traisulee." Forget all newsletters and info-messages. Wait until it is published by the Royal Gazette.
that’s not the case things need to formally approved by the government before it goes to the Royal Gazette. the royal gazette is just the publication nothing more. Decisions are made before the royal gazette
The status yesterday was "government has decided that by July 15th it will be 60 days, and all formalities will be done on time." It just looks like today we have a new status. Fair enough to point at the possibility of that, but who are we to ASSUME it would change?
