TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers are advised that Thai Airways will strictly check health certificates and insurance before boarding flights from Hanoi to Bangkok. Essential documents must be presented during check-in in Hanoi; failure to do so will result in being denied boarding. New requirements include a valid health certificate and health insurance coverage of USD 100,000.

My understanding is it's done by the airline in the city where your boarding airplane not in Thailand... another word for airline needs to see this documentation or they won't let you board the plane.
Please keep us posted, I should take the same flight later at this week (if not all flights cancelled), so would be good to hear how it went at Hanoi and BKK please
My friend supposed to fly back to thailand this morning with thai airways and got rejected by the airline staff at check-in counter because the health certificate that she has wasn't the correct one. Even tho she has valid NON-O Visa.
okay thank you very much. my friends are unsure whether they can get the refund. The call centers are all shut. However, they have sent the email to Thai airway and hope this works somehow.
my friends have health cert + insurance ( not covering covid-19). If anybody here has this sort of similar experience, please share. Thank you very much for all the comments!!!
Hi Tod. Not disagreeing with you. But I have seen at least 20+ posts today & not one IO at Swampy asked for anything except just asked Why R U here in Thailand>>>>Keep up the great work.
