Hey yall Anyone got any recommendations for best countries to apply for a dtv ? I got denied at the LA consulate apply with soft power muy thai 9 months class & meeting the 500k limit ,im a seasonal fisherman so my company flys me out when i pick up contracts whats the best route to take?

Yeah, business accounts are almost never accepted, as you are not applying for a visa for your business. Do you have the required amount of money in your personal account for the required amount of time?

They requested more documents from me. Apparently bank statements from a business account are not okay (an account that I own), It has to be a personal account. They also want a selfie taken in front of a tourist site. All things that were not mentioned when I originally submitted my documents. Quite frustrating

yes it must be a personal account. Money in a business account belongs to the business, regardless of whether you own the business or not

I'm sorry to hear that, mate. While photos in front of tourist destinations is not a hard requirement (or at least I don't think it is), there seems to be a trend from embassies on asked for that, I can only imagine it'd be as a response on people applying from outside of the country they are applying through...

Hang in there, you'll be alright. Now, if that makes you feel any better (probably won't), I've been waiting on my "pending approval" for about 35 days, so being in a hurry won't help you I don't think.

Waiting time is inconvenient but it is how it. You have to be prepared for about 4 weeks processing time. Sometimes it takes less

Good luck with that. All documentation needs to be in electronic format. Your rushing through and making mistakes is not their problem.
