Hello everyone

I came to Thailand in February for 2 weeks,

I then returned in March for 2 weeks trying to get my girlfriend a visa for the UK ( which was unsuccessful this time)

I am flying back to Bangkok on 21 st June for 2 days, we then both of us go to Vietnam for 2 weeks before coming back to Thailand again for 4 days.

Even though I will be under the time limit allowed I will have been to Thailand 4 times in 6 months

Will this be an issue?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about potential issues with Thai immigration due to making multiple short visits within a six-month period. Responses from the community suggest that as long as the individual is a tourist and can provide proof of onward travel, there should be no significant problems. Many members have shared their personal experiences of frequent visits without issues. However, there is acknowledgment that immigration enforcement may vary based on the discretion of the officers.

It all depends on the officer in Imigration

What if I stayed 90 days and out for 2 days; stayed 50 days again and out for another 2 days. Then planning going back for another 90 days?

There is no "time limit allowed"

You shouldn't have an issue . I normally come every 9-10 weeks for 3 weeks . 6 weeks at Xmas time and never been questioned. Been doing this since end of 2021

The amount of time spent in Thailand is one of the things the IO looks at obviously your just a tourist not trying to live here

Don't worry , you are obviously a tourist and not trying to stay in Thailand long term on tourist exemption visas . Just enjoy your holidays .

Probably not since there is no officially limits on arrivals via air land or sea…good luck

These days who knows. Seems to be getting stricter and im guessing depends on the outcome of the PMs ordered review on the visa exempt.

So no one knows but I would suggest an onward flight will make it more likely you'll be ok. Use

will cost you $16 and is valid for 48 hours as an actual ticket

I did 7 visits one year, all for 10 days. No problems at all, not even questioned by immigration. But best to have proof of onward travel just in case.
