Will my DTV interview and visa approval happen in time for my flight to Bangkok on September 15th?
Hi all, this group is a god send albeit brutal at times!😂😂😂 I applied DTV Aug 23rd from the London embassy. request more info 24th..uploaded what asked for 25th, request for an interview msg came back on the 27th Aug requesting tues 8th Sept. problem is I have a non refundable flight Sept 15th to Bangkok. If my interview is successful, will that give me enough time for the embassy to make a decision and grant me my dtv or should I try and request an earlier day. I’ve informed them I leave on the 15th Sept a few times during my application uploads. As always, many thanks. I do really appreciate the feedback.🙏

Yes it will be a quick decision. Usually immediately after your interview, they will send you an email confirming your visa has been approved (we pray so 🙏🏽) and the visa will be valid from that same day.

London is so quick generally that I’d expect you’d have plenty of time…but you could try asking I guess
