TLDR : Answer Summary
The time it takes to receive a response after applying for a DTV visa in Thailand can vary widely, typically ranging from a few days to several weeks. The actual processing time depends on the embassy where the application is submitted and can be influenced by factors such as required documentation and application volume. It's advisable to check the specific embassy's website for estimated processing times.
I am about to apply from USA for DTV.. I have spent a lot of time carefully building my package requirements, I will be watching this thread to see how it goes for you. Best advice, which for you is a moot point now, is to be over-prepared. That is what I am doing before sending it out with my $400 USD
Anywhere from days to weeks. Normally the embassy you are applying through published a rough time estimate. But since you haven't given basic info that is the best answer you can get.

Which country did you apply from? For example, HCMC in Vietnam say 5 working days, but each time they request any extra documents, that 5 days resets.
my experience was when the DTV was first released. Did you get called in for an interview, or was your DTV simply issued? Which route did you take, soft power or digital nomad? Glad to hear that the process has speeded up, I wonder if that is due to the process becoming more efficient, or simply because less people are applying now?
all online, I think right after they stopped doing in person. Mid October 2024. I was shocked how quick it went. But presumably depends how many they are processing at the time and what documents need to be checked.

When they finish processing your application. What does the embassy website say?
You haven't given ANY information for anyone to even begin answering your question. The bare minimum information is your passport country and which embassy you applied at.
But even with that information, it takes as long as it takes.
