Question for anyone that's done a 90 day report at Jomtien.
I queued with everyone else at the 90-day reporting building but was turned away and told I needed to go to the information building first.
What confused me is that there were other people I’d been sitting and chatting with who were also doing their 90-day report, and they went straight through without any issue.
I decided to leave and come back another morning, as the queue had grown huge by that point.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?

The situation has become increasingly onerous. It used to be the case that the 90-day could always be done online and I had used it without issue since 2022. Sometime recently this has changed, and now if it is your first report since re-entering Thailand online cannot be used. So for anyone who travels more than once a year, chances are the online system can no longer be used..... In my recent case at Jomtien, reporting in person, I had the print-out of the online TM30, but was told that when reporting in person an online TM30 is not acceptable, you have to have a paper-TM30, obtained at counter 10. I was then directed to the information building. It took 2 hours in queues to get to counter 10. And what happened next was staggering. The lady looked at the online TM30 print-out, manually wrote those same details onto another piece of paper, and finished with the red-stamp, and handed me the stamped paper !!!!! So, FFS, what the F was wrong with the online print-out? That was the source she used for the hand-written and stamped TM30. If they removed unnecessary and ridiculous process, along with allowing an online report after returning from travel, I am sure the queues would be shorter along with hours of time being saved. Oh, and to add. On the screen showing the queue tickets is a green graphic with a QR code. Scan that and you get an App that has "Pattaya Immigration" that allows you to book an appointment for a variety of things such as address notification, 90-day report, etc. Well, don't bother scanning it and using it, as if you make a booking, when you turn up, they claim it is not supported (in spite of them advertising the QR code on their very own screen !!!!)
At Jomtien I always just got a form out front from building on the left. Completed it and went to building on the right to the dedicated 90 Day report desk. Handed over documents below. Got a number. They send passports and docs through in a batch to officers inside main building. About 15 to 20 mins later passports come back and they shout out number
Yes you need to go information first, its not only information counter they check your documents before sending you forward (like if you need to go verify your address first)
Do you have a Tm30 notification? I’ve done x3 90 day reports at Jomtien and always joined the 90day queue just before they open around 0830 and have always been out by 0845.
