Should I be worried about my e-visa status as it has been pending since October 8th?
I applied for an e visa with the London embassy on the 4th and it’s been pending since the 8th October. I fly on 5th November. Should I be worried?

My friend applied on the 1st ocr for the same his as just come through today hes had to cancel his trip as he was going on tuesday hes moved it to November now I think youl be ok

OPMichelle Bedford I made sure I applied over a month before I fly. There’s still 10 working days until I fly. Hopefully they don’t leave it until the last minute, past the point I can cancel my flight for a refund.

Mine was pending for 6 days after I emailed them inquiring the status of my visa request.

Jonathan Garner I emailed them Sunday night and I could swear I got an approval email back from them within 3-4 hours. I couldn't believe it. Not sure if my email caused it or not.

Mark Broere ...we also sent a mail 'begging" for relief....after a long procedure for one person in our company, and visum was in the bext day.

what kind of visa category, and what does the status show? Have you checked your email in case there is a request for more documents ?

Greg Alexander ... status changes when they request more info....no worry. It s obvious and clear. We 4 people (2 couples) got our visum: one couple after 3 weeks with extra question on official reservation proof accomodation for at least half of our stay... Another after 4 weeks with many problems ...one had to restart all over and had to pay the fee again and got approved in 4 working days ! Party 🤣 we fly on

yer flight is 16 days out. Relax. The London embassy is known as one of the fastest in processing applications of all European embassies, maybe only be on par with the Berlin embassy

Jonathan Garner you can relax because "pending approval" means that everything has been checked and it just needs the approval of a superior . . . . . many superiors are the most lazy loot, so it should not come as a surprise. It will work out

OPLynn Goodall hopefully you get sorted soon. It’s stressful having to pay for flights before you even get accepted. Then you put in your application well within the advised time frame, and have to sit and hope ☹️

Jonathan Garner says processing, said that since I aplied,, waited 15 working days,,, so 3 weeks,, last yeat aplied same time and date came with a month to spare,,, wouldn't mind if they replied and said just hold on,? But to just ignore you,,, not nice

We regularly apply in Australia. If they start to process the documents and it goes to 'pending', they will issue near to your departure day and concentrate on people that are arriving into Thailand earlier than you. Once it's pending, and you have not been asked for additional documents, you have ticked all the boxes for approval and should receive your visa in time.
