How long does it typically take to receive a DTV visa from Taiwan and should I contact the embassy about my application status?

Hello everyone,

I'm currently in Taiwan and have been waiting for my DTV visa application for about two weeks. My application status has been showing "Document Completion" for the entire two weeks and has not changed.

I'd love to hear from people who have already received their DTV visa:

* How long did it take for you to receive a final decision?

* Is it normal for the status to remain on "Document Completion" for two weeks?

* Has anyone contacted the embassy or consulate by email to ask about their application status?

* If you did, did it help move the process forward, or did it make no difference?

I've heard mixed opinions. Some people say it's fine to send an email, while others suggest waiting and not contacting them during the process.

I'd really appreciate hearing about your personal experience.
