Why do you laminate the dtv Visa ? It is A4 format by standard. Do you print it in a smaller format?
Answer summary
The discussion revolves around why individuals laminate their DTV visas, with several commenters mentioning that laminated visas are easier to carry and last longer. Many suggest printing the visa in smaller formats such as A6 for convenience, likening it to the size of a passport. There is a mix of opinions regarding the necessity of having a physical copy, with some mentioning that the visa is linked to their passport and can be scanned without needing to show a printed document. Alternatives to laminating include printing the visa on clothing or not bothering with it at all.

I have mine A0 format and roll it up like a piece of carpet. They just wave me through.
If you enter the Visa’s number in the TDAC form then they will see it when they scan your passport. If you not enter the Visa number on the TDAC form then they will still see it since it is connected to your passport number. It is an e-visa. In the worst case you can show it on your phone but really don’t need to show it. Printing it out and laminating it is a big big BS.
Yes I had mine printed in the smaller A6 format, then had it laminated. A6 is almost the size of a passport so it's easier to carry. I've been using this same laminate for over 2 years now. Laminating protects the paper and it lasts longer. In my opinion, it's better than printing every time I need to enter Thailand.
