Answer summary
A user shares their recent experience re-entering Thailand on a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) via Suvarnabhumi Airport. They reported that the Immigration Officer only requested to see their laminated visa and stamped it for 6 months without any further inquiries. This sparked a discussion on the necessity and validity of laminated visas among other users, including comments on the differences in interpretations of supporting documents by immigration officials. Several users expressed surprise at the straightforward process and debated whether a laminated PDf or just a printed copy suffices when re-entering on a DTV.

I can't believe they didn't ask for more information. we need more reports from more people, please. 😀
Good data point. A lot of people are still unclear about DTV re-entry rules. Immigration officers can interpret supporting documents differently, so it’s always safer to carry proof of accommodation, onward travel, and financial evidence — even if they don’t ask for it.
Surely they strip searched you in public and asked you questions about the government of Antartica and had you validate your water usage when you went to elementary school.
I can't believe you got so lucky to just walk right in and get stamped through without issue.
