What is the experience like entering Thailand on a DTV visa?

Entered Thailand (BKK Airport) today for the 3rd time on my DTV in the last 8 months.
All three entries have been smooth… no questions asked, stamped for 6 months each time. The IOs were friendly, all smiles, with the usual Sawadee Khrap and Khawb Khun Khrap. 🙂
Just sharing my experience in case it helps anyone wondering what recent entries have been like.

It’s just the idea of carrying round a laminated copy seems like a pain in the a*s but by the sounds of it, just in case is the best policy. Cheers all

when you do the TDAC you enter the visa # They don’t need it anything
But is ok to have

They never ask for it. Just have your tdac with you (they never ask me for it) and hand over your passport.Varun ********

I always show a printed copy. I know they already have the data in their system but I guess I’m just old school.Tom ********

I think it always is a good idea to have it printed and they seem appreciative when you hand it over, but it's probably on their system anyway. It very likely isn't rquired but best to clear any ambiguity in any case.
