Why do some people have a physical sticker in their passport while others do not? Can you pick up the sticker at your embassy after the visa has been approved? I found the image on Google.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The differences in having a visa sticker in passports are primarily due to the application method. Individuals who apply for visas in person at an embassy may receive a physical sticker, while those applying for E-visas do not, as the process is now fully electronic. This change to E-visa systems has been implemented widely since early 2025, making physical stickers increasingly uncommon.
Everything is documented on the computer these days and linked to your passport number, immigration don't even need to look in the passport all comes up on screen

No, you can't. Everything is now E-visa. Stickers used to be for the ones who applied in person at the embassy.
