TLDR : Answer Summary
The time required to obtain a Destination Visa in Jakarta is typically around 3 business days if applied for in person. However, the process may take longer for online applications, especially during the initial rollout of the e-visa system, which is expected to be implemented soon. As for the receipt of the visa, it can either be sent via email or collected in person, depending on the application method.

Within 3 business days in person and when online. The online application during the rollout may take a bit longer, I was informed.

hello thanks! You have to apply in person right? Not online if i understood. No e-visa yet in Jakarta.

And about collection, they send pdf or you go in person?

Evisa starts Nov 26th, Nov 21 is the last in person application. PDF is sent if you apply online. In person applicants will get a visa sticker in their passport.

There was a post just today that they are switching to e-visa later this month. So if you want to do it in person there you better hurry.
