What's up with closing posts so quickly, never seen this in any groups. The are countries that issue visas in 1 day!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the quick closure of threads in visa-related groups, with comments suggesting that this practice helps maintain the quality of information provided. Authors state that no Thai consulate in Southeast Asia offers same-day visa services anymore, and closure helps prevent misinformation and irrelevant discussions.

Okay, not that I feel the group owes you the least bit of an answer BUT I will humor you.

AT this time NO thai consulate in S/E Asia offers same day service. Now you might find it at a thai consulate in your country or someplace in the west but NONE offer it nearby,

Also early on in the groups existence we did leave the comments open and what ended up happening IS people would ask a question, get the correct answer, then some well-meaning yet totally clueless wing-nut would weigh in with their two satang of bad information and it would start the whole thread over again.

We finally realized that this isn't a group to share your two cents worth of feelings or thoughts about the process,

It's not a group to hold hands around the fire and sing Kumbaya My Lord or Michael Row the Boat Ashore :O Nor is it a place to whine, bitch piss or moan about the visa process here.

It's a place to come, ask questions and get concise accurate up to date answers (or as accurate as they can be).

SO that's why we close threads as fast as we do,

AND

ONE MORE TIME, if anyone thinks they can provide a valuable <-(note that word please) contribution to a thread that is closed PLEASE message one of the admin.moderating staff with what you wanna say and we'll re-open a thread. Same goes for the author of a closed thread, if you want to post an update to your thread, message us..

I dont believe any countries in asia offer 1 day visa turnaround anymore. It is usually 2 days.

the are very good, you bring all papers in the morning and after 3 hours you pick up your tourist visa :)

What visa is it? I believe the royal thai embassy in L.A, will do visa's in 1 business day. By person. Or 15 days by mail.
