Which nationality should I use for my DTV application in Thailand—my Latin American or European passport?

Hey everyone!

I'm about to apply to get my DTV, but am unsure of the following:

I hold 2 nationalities: a Latin American one and a European one.

All of my funds are in my native (Latin American) currency, thus showing my tax information, address, etc. of my home country. However, I consider the European passport to make a stronger impression and would get approved (hopefully) faster, but this is solely a belief, as I have no evidence.

The problem with applying with the Euro passport is that it would mismatch the currency, tax info, address, and others, so I'm quite unsure as to with which nationality to use.

Has anyone had any experience with this? What are your thoughts and recs?

Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether to use their Latin American or European nationality for their DTV application in Thailand, considering factors like currency and address mismatch for documentation. Commenters advise using the passport associated with the current location and highlight that documentation must match in terms of addresses and personal information.

Proof of location is mostly done with the entry stamp in your passport.

You have to use that passport to apply.

You can NOT switch from one passport to another passport in the application to avoid mismatch in your documents.

Where are you applying? What passport are you using in that location? Most likely you will need to use whatever passport you are currently on, unless you are in one of your “home” nations
