Is it problematic to apply for a DTV in Thailand after switching to a different passport while having dual nationality?

Hi guys.

I was living in Thailand for 3 yrs on a work permit that ended late March.

I have dual nationality and left Thailand on the passport that my work permit was on.

I have returned early April on my other passport, Reason for changing passports was simply because my other one was full.

I will be leaving Thailand in the next few days to apply for my DTV.

Has anyone had any experience with changing passports etc, just worrying that it might look suspicious even though Thai immigration had no issues with it.

TLDR : Answer Summary
An individual shared concerns about applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand after switching passports. They previously held a work permit on one passport but returned on another due to their first passport being full. Community members reassured them that as long as the immigration system recognizes their dual nationality and there's no deception, they shouldn't face issues. It's essential to fill out the visa application truthfully and remain transparent with immigration.

What do you think you are doing wrong?? You legally have 2 passports so you can travel on which one you want. Thai immagration have all your records in the system so don't worry you haven't done anything wrong your not a criminal 🤣🤣. Just apply for the DTV as normal in which ever passport just don't try to hide anything your all good

I also have dual passports. The visa application asks if you have a second nationality, although does not ask for the second passport number. However, immigration already knows you have two passport (due to biometrics). There is nothing dodgy, just fill up the dtv visa form thruthfully.

They also identify you by facerecognition and fingerprints, so your whole immigrationhistory will be visibel for the Immigration officer, no matter which passport you use.

As long as you got in without any issues I can't imagine you would have issues applying for a DTV
