Hello.

At which embassies in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia can I visit for drop-in services for a DTV application without needing to book an appointment in advance?

When and which of these embassies will require online applications?

How is the 10,000 thb fee to be paid—can it be paid in their local currency or in Thai baht?

Can the fee be paid by debit card, or should it be paid in cash?

Thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
For a DTV application, you can visit the embassy in Phnom Penh for drop-in services until October 7th, after which they will require online applications. Vientiane and Savannakhet in Laos require an appointment to enter. The visa fee is 10,000 THB only accepted in cash at Vientiane and Savannakhet; other locations have different fees. Payment should be made in cash only, as all consulates do not accept debit or credit cards.

You can show up to Phnom Penh this friday or maybe monday as those are the last days they have "walk up service" before going to the eVisa online program starting the 8th of Oct,.

BOTH Vientiane and Savannakhet require booked online appt to get in the gate, no appt booked you don't get in. No word on when they go eVisa.

ONLY Vientiane and Savannakhet take 10K baht for the visa fee. Phnom Penh the fee is 400USD, It's 340USD in Hanoi/HCMC, it's in malay currency at the consulates in Malaysia, Indo currency in Jakarta, Taiwan currency in Taipei

ALL consulates only take CASH,
