Hi everyone, I have a question. Is there any consulate/embassy in SEA that is still accepting physical applications for the dtv? I was one document short today at the HCMC consulate, and they said they are closed until the e-visa kicks in next Wednesday. Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the availability of consulates or embassies in Southeast Asia that are still processing physical applications for the DTV visa. A comment suggests that while Laos has not yet switched to e-visa, appointments there are difficult to secure. Additionally, it notes that the Taipei office processes DTV applications on the same day, despite having e-visa provisions.
Laos has still not announced when they will switch to e-visa. But you need an appointment at both of the embassies in Laos and they're often booked up for a few weeks.
Taipei is a good option. They're on e-visa but they issue the DTV the same day you apply normally.
