you do realize that Bangkok has FIFTY amphurs right? Have your soon to be thai wife start pounding the phones and calling around. You'll find one, even if they charge a 'special fee' to let you get married
Try Laksi Amphur out by the Government Complex on Chaengwattana Road they were the go to place for foreigner/thai marriages in bangkok for a while
I do know this, but due to covid most of the amphurs were closed. We had a booking for Sam phran amphur yesterday @2pm we got there at 13:30 with all the required documents but were given the run around and sent from one person to the next only to be told at 16:30 that we were not able to do a marriage certificate there. That is why I’m asking if anyone has recently received a marriage certificate from any given amphur as I don’t want to waste time like that again.
call Laksi, AND just so you know, you were given the run around to try to 'encourage' you to ask if 'making a donation' would speed the process, totally common
oh wow didn’t even think of that! Thanks for the info Tod will give it a try.

Samat sakorn still births and deaths only.
Maybe Bangkok we had to do civil ceremony quick before and company express translations near the old British Embassy found us one that morning (pre covid)
certified copy of passport from your embassy, along with certified copy of divorce (if required) then they need to be translated into thai, they in turn have to be taken to ministry of internal affairs for ratification and stamped. Then you personally should be all good to go 👍
sorry its ministry of foreign affairs, not as I put internal as I put in haste, ps: your future partner has to go to embassy with you too and show her ID card.
