Hi everyone,

My visa expired on 17th Jan due to the flight I booked being canceled. And I booked another flight for 21st Jan (Friday). I definitely have to pay the fine, maybe 2000 Baht.

Where should I pay the fine at Suvarnabhumi Airport? And at the moment, is there a super long line? How long should I expect to wait to pay the fine?

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the process and location for paying a visa overstay fine at Suvarnabhumi Airport after their visa expired on January 17th. They wanted to know if there are long lines at the airport for this payment. A commenter responded that fines are paid at a designated desk after processing through Thai Immigration, noting that the fine is 500 Baht per day of overstay. They cautioned that overstaying was unwise.

You pay at time you process thru Thai Immigration at the airport.

The officer will see the overstay and then direct you to another desk...to pay the overstay fine.

of 500 Thai baht per day.

It was not wise to be on overstay...

But you chose to do so.

Good Luck
