As an ex royal marine military police commando is there anywhere that  respects remembrance Sunday as this means so much to me.

Kanchanaburi is without the place to be for you to go, you can by train from Bangkok, cost was about 300thb each, you should Google the train station and take a taxi to the station from the hotel

I am ex military having served with the Royal Navy and would be interested in attending a remembrance service parade.

Perhaps Kanchanaburi is a good option as we have visited this place before.
