Where can I extend a 30-day visa exemption in Thailand now that it may not be at Charngwattaana?

I tried to search for this answer but couldn’t find it.   I heard the 30 day extension on a visa exempt arrival (USA passport) isn’t done at the same place in charngwattaana anymore.  Is this true?  And could somebody point me in the correct direction?  Thanks for your help everybody.

you can make an appointment and then show up 15 minutes before that time. Otherwise it takes as long as it takes, some days there aren't that many people in the queue and other days it's jammed full.
