When should I apply for a tourist visa to Thailand if my trip starts on July 20th?

ORIGINAL POSTERHello, we are going to Thailand 20th of july for 35 nights, so according to our country (Slovakia) we need tourist visa. When should we apply for e-visa form? Two weeks before holiday or less ?

You should apply for tourist visa and not use visa exempt as some are saying.
If you use visa exempt you'll have to show your airline a ticket that you're leaving Thailand within 30 days, and you'll have to waste a day of your trip at the immigration office.
It costs the same to get the visa before you go and more convenient in every way.

You can also come in without a VISA (confirm, but you probably have the 30-day visa exemption) and apply for an extension for the extra days.

You can enter Thailand on a visa exemption that gives you 30 days. You can then extend in country for another 30 days for 1900baht.
