TLDR : Answer Summary
The Visa Waiver Program for Indians has not resumed as of now. Travelers need to pay a visa on arrival fee of 2,000 baht when landing in Bangkok. However, it is possible to apply online for the visa on arrival to avoid queuing. As of the latest updates, the visa on arrival offers a stay of 30 days instead of the usual 15 days, but this option cannot be extended.

With the VOA you now get 30 days instead of 15 days, until the end of March. The only thing, as before, you can not extend it.
