Applying for a 90 Day Non-Immigrant Visa (in Canada). Does the 90 days begin when the visa is issued, or when actually entering Thailand ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 90 days on a Non-Immigrant Visa starts when you enter Thailand, not when the visa is issued. The visa is valid for 3 months from the issuance date, during which you must enter Thailand to receive a 90-day entry stamp.

The visa is a single entry Non-O visa and it's valid for 3 months from the date it's issued <- meaning you have 3 months from that date to ENTER thailand

and

when you do you will get stamped in for 90 days. (even if you enter the last day the visa is valid for you will get the 90 day entry stamp)
