I have a 90 day non o visa based on retirement dated 9 Feb to 9 May. I applied early thinking it would take 14 days or so. I am arriving in Thailand in 10 days. When immigration stamps my passport does my stamp last until 9 May or do I get 90 days from my arrival date of 25 March? Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
When you arrive in Thailand with a 90-day Non-O visa based on retirement, your visa becomes effective from your arrival date, not from the approval date. Upon stamping your passport, you will receive 90 days of residency starting from your arrival date of 25 March.

As others have mentioned, you get 90 days stamped when you arrive in Thailand. Once you arrive you need to get a residence certificate and a Thai phone number (keep your receipt) so you can open a Thai bank account. Do this right away and transfer your equivalent of 800k Thai baht so it can 'season' for 2 months
