Let me share my latest experience. I spent 4 days in Vietnam and returned to Bangkok yesterday. Upon entry, I showed the DTV visa on my phone, which they compared with the data on their computer. I received a new 6-month stamp without a word, nobody asked me any questions, and the whole process took about 2 minutes.

TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat shared their recent experience returning to Bangkok after spending 4 days in Vietnam on a DTV visa. Upon entry, the process was smooth and quick, taking only about 2 minutes, with no questions asked. They displayed their DTV visa on their phone, which was verified against the immigration system, resulting in a new 6-month stamp. Comments from others highlighted the ease of entry for DTV holders and advised having a printed approval letter, despite mobile display being accepted.
so depending on what they tell, you believe or don't believe anonymous posters...

Luit van der Linde Don't you believe depending on what is told? Do you have doubt on what the OP says? The post is consistent with 100s of others. As mentioned before, it is the posts that denote need for a business class ticket, 5 star hotel, able to see every arrival's passport and visa etc that are not believable. It is ok to be Anon and post sense.
my point is that every described experience of interrogations or problems when entering is qualified as nonsense with remarks posters are anonymous and there is no evidence. Maybe not all details are correct, but there is no reason why this experieces are nonsense.
Not all problematic entry posts by Anons are nonsense. The ones that are blatantly nonsense get called out and very easy to tell they are nonsense. You need to up your street smarts😀
Same guys as usual. This is the kind of post these guys will never reply to, or they’ll try to diminish it by any means (here they’ll say, oh yeah, but that was ED before). I found it on another expat group today.

Not surprised that everything went well, that is to be expected on a DTV. I'd advise printing out the DTV approval letter even if showing it on your phone was accepted.
