What is the experience of entering Thailand multiple times with a DTV visa?

Just sharing my DTV journey - I have entered for 3 times within a year of receiving DTV. Today, I landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), and felt a bit worried due to recent declaration of stricter screening especially to the travelers who enter Thailand with Visa exemption scheme although DTV holders are not in targeted list. But, the whole immigration process took place so quickly. I handed my passport, the boarding pass, the printed eVisa and completed TDAC in my phone (Officer even didn’t look at my phone as my TDAC already appeared in his computer after scanning my passport). He didn’t ask any questions, scanned my passport & the barcode of my eVisa, stamped for 180 day stay and finished. That’s totally different with the 1st time of entry that I was individually interviewed by the officer in charge of the border checkpoint (I entered Thailand with the DTV for the first time through border crossing from Cambodia), and I even missed the bus due to interviewing, long waiting time to finish immigration clearance to other travelers and interrogation to other travelers before me. This means 1st time is to be careful while the process is quite straightforward in subsequent times of reentries.

The first time you entered, you came by bus through the Aranyaprathet-Poipet border, hence the slight scrutiny. When the border was open, I also re-entered through there once, but by car (which is different). If you use public transportation, the upstairs immigration is known for being strict. Any other border is usually OK.

Yes, I came by a tourist bus through Poipet border check-point. Indeed, the officer in charge was polite and nice. She just asked a few questions and she was convinced with my answers. Actual problem there was a long waiting time.

My first time at Suvarnabhumi was all done in 90 seconds. The IO was very impressed with my laminated A6 e-visa. She kept saying very easy to scan and showed it off to her colleague :D

How long did you stay outside before coming back?

No questions asked at BKK is the norm.

I was asked what I do for work etc the first time I entered on the DTV at BKK airport. However, it was a very casual and jovial conversation.

I think the reason for the interview was the land border. They probably had no idea what the DTV was.
