, another thing you could do before you leave, to maximize your time would be a border bounce to get a NEW 90 day stamp.

Go to the border, stamp out of thailand, stamp in&out of another country turn around and stamp back into thailand and you'd get a new 90 day stamp.

3 weeks is certainly long enough to get an O-A visa from the thai consulate in London. Seeing as you can apply online and start the application process NOW if you wanted to.

However IF you want to get stamped back in on the existing 90 day stamp you got on your O visa when you entered you could get a single re-entry permit for 1000baht at the immigration office or the airport BEFORE you fly out.

That won't add any days to your current stamp but when you come back you'll be stamped in until Sept 18th

In my opinion ...Get the O-A...avoid the grief and unknown of many in and outs in Thailand. Keep it worry free. Get the O-A.
