Just joined the group, seems like good info on here. Have a question on which if any visa I need. 57 years old , US passports, have 4 total, 2 tourist, and 2 Diplomatic all valid. I work outside of Thailand for 4 to 6 weeks, and return here for a month , then repeat the cycle. I have been using the 30 day visa exempt to enter Thailand. Should I continue using the 30 day exempt, or maybe get a non O ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is a 57-year-old US passport holder who frequently works outside of Thailand and has been using the 30-day visa exempt entry for visits. Based on community advice, they should consider switching to a Non Immigrant O visa due to their age, which would allow for a longer stay and prevent potential issues with immigration during frequent entries.

Make a short visit to the Immigration Office and ask for the hand out with requirements to get this visa, you need a minimum of days left on you stay to apply.
Visa agents are well paid for making copies, and carry the documents to apply. With a little effort you can do this yourself.
Going in and out on regular basis using the Visa Exempt Entry will lead on day to extra questions of the Immigration Officer.
As you are over 50 years of age I would say the Non Immigrant O visa based on being over 50 years and then the Extension of Stay from Immigration with Multiple Re-Entry Permit.
