TLDR : Answer Summary
The user living in Siem Reap seeks advice on visas suitable for travel to Thailand, primarily for medical purposes, while being limited to two land crossings per calendar year. The comments discuss the current status of land border crossing restrictions, affirming that there are no recent limitations and suggesting the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) as a favorable option.
Definitely want to confirm no restrictions on land border crossings. I crossed (Bangkok-Siem Reap) once at the end of December, again in mid-February, and will cross again in June. In between all of that - and including the Thailand/Cambodia crossings - would have been in Vietnam for 75 days, Japan to pick up a cruise ship that ends in Los Angeles, and then flying back to Bangkok to cross again to get back to Siem Reap. I don't currently live in Cambodia, but I am going to be looking at the extended visa next time instead of getting the tourist visa.

There hasn't been a 2 land crossing into Thailand without a visa rule since July 2024.

And 60 days visa exempt is still active. 30 Days not officially confirmed yet. Also not in the Royal Gazette.
Thaiembassy.com is not a site from a Thai Embassy. Also no date. And last but not least, you have nothing to do with the Thai Embassy, you have to do with Thai Immigration.
We got turned back yesterday at O Smach by Cambodia immigration as they said 2 entries only into Thailand, they confirmed they could exit us then the Thai side would stamp and refused entry into your passport. But you try
Unless an immigration officer is the one telling it to you, it doesn't matter. The rule was abolished when they increased visa exempt to 60 days last year.
you said CAMBODIA turned you back. You didn't say Thai immigration turned you back. Why are you listening to Cambodia about another country? The article you linked talks about 30 days which shows it's wrong or very old. Because it's still 60 days. Nothing has changed.
I could not get to Thai immigration as Cambodia immigration said I would be denied entry and get a stamp denied entry. O’Smach is a very small crossing and he showed me the up to date info. Very difficult to argue, that why I messaged Giant Ibis hoping for a different answer.
So I made a post on this forum asking about visa’s not to open an argument about rules.
The only real border crossing from Siem Reap for me is O Smach, Poipet is a no go with your own car
I don't understand why would people ask for advise on FB and then refuse to hear any advice. It's well known that the only 2 land entries per year has been abolished. It doesn't mean, of course, you've got a guaranteed entry, but many people is doing it everyday.
