ORIGINAL POSTER
Hi I’m English a pensioner three Covid19 jabs, I recently booked to arrive in BKK on the 16th of February 2022 and fly out on 15th May approx 90 days, I started to apply for a 90 day visa in the Uk but it looks as though the maximum visa is now 60 days. I stay in Hua Hin would I just go to immigration and get a 30 day extension, I usually arrive in Thailand twice a year three months at a time, or can you recommend another type of visa, thank you in advance for your help

Kind regards Mike

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, an English pensioner, is seeking advice about visa options for a 90-day stay in Thailand. They initially intended to apply for a 90-day visa but discovered that the maximum is now 60 days. They inquire about extending their stay with a 30-day extension upon arrival or other visa recommendations. Commenters confirm that a 30-day extension is still permissible and suggest that the user can accumulate up to 90 days with a combination of the 60-day visa and the 30-day extension.

Just get the 30 day extension. Nothing changed.

You still can get a 30 day extension as before...60+30=90 days
