I want to buy a Re-Entry permit for my O-A non immigrant visa extension (I'm in my 2nd year)
I will get it at Jomtien Immigration. NOT at Swampy.
Can you please tell me all things I need to do so? I know it is 1000thb. Also days to avoid at Jomtien Immigration.
Headed back to OZ to try and get new O-A before 1 July when supposedly, maybe, new Mandatory Health Insurance is introduced. Hopefully it was just a brain fart and wont be however my age 70 plus means if it is made Law then I'm up shit creek in a barbed wire canoe.
Which means no new O-A visa and I return to LOS until August when my extension expires.
So recommendation please for type of visa to get in a nearby country that would see me through mid October when my condo lease ends.
After which I will head to the Phillippines.
I appreciate greatly how helpful this group has been for me.
Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a Re-Entry permit for your O-A non-immigrant visa extension at Jomtien Immigration, you need to prepare for a few key steps. You are aware that the fee is 1000 THB. Make sure to choose a day to visit that avoids peak times at the Jomtien Immigration office. Considerations about upcoming health insurance laws might necessitate a strategy for your visa situation. If necessary, explore alternative visa options in a nearby country that could accommodate your timeframe until mid-October.
