TLDR : Answer Summary
The user questioned the implications of entering Thailand for the third time by air after previously entering twice by land without a visa. Community members clarified that while the new passport does not reset the two 30-day visa-exempt entries permitted per calendar year by land, entering by air may still allow for a visa-exempt entry, depending on the immigration officer's discretion. It was advised to be prepared with proof of onward travel and to consider obtaining a valid visa from a Thai consulate.
Iina Nyman, okay getting a new passport DOES NOT reset the TWO 30 day visa exempt entries in a calendar year by land.
IF you had TWO 30 day visa exempt entries by land this year you're done entering visa exempt by land this year, new passport or not.
You either GO to a thai consulate and BUY a valid visa
OR
you try to fly in to get a 30 day visa exempt entry (because technically there is no limit to those). ;)
Good Luck we're done..

You will be fine with visa exempt entry by air.. Final decision to let you really into Thailand would be on a immigration officer at passport control. Be prepared with three proof-of-s.

Sometimes i do miss, but still man enough to let peope know. And yes, some times many people ask on the same time and than it is quiet for hours.
, no wonder to miss a few small words since you have way too many posts to read and handle on your hands. But to be honest, I was a bit afraid you may know some dark reason to be sure for op to be denied...

Fingerprints, pictures taken, name, dob, nationality, gender just to name a few things that did not change when people get a new booklet.

Yes, only two land crossings in a year. You need to fly!
