Hello :-) Question mostly for Polish people with passport issued in Poland, but if any country have similar please also share.

What did you write in the place of issue box while applying? Did you go with what's under authority word by word (in my case it says Wojewoda Pomorski /3/) or you wrote Poland?

I will be applying in Hanoi and really don't want to get rejected for a mistake there.

TIA

EDIT: I called Embassy of Thailand in Hanoi and the Embassy told me to write Poland.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation focuses on how to correctly fill out the place of issue box when applying for a Thai visa. Users share their experiences and advice on whether to write the specific authority name (e.g., Wojewoda Pomorski) or simply 'Poland.' The consensus leans towards writing 'Poland' as advised by the Thai Embassy in Hanoi, with others confirming successful applications using variations of what appears in their passports.

no it's not Warsaw, it translates to a person who issued the document and it was in some other city in Poland.

Potwierdzam, dokładnie jak jest w paszporcie. W moim przypadku, mam wydany przez "Konsul w Hanoi" i tak też wpisałem. Akcept bez dodatkowych dokumentów w 5-6 dni. Aplikowałem w Hanoi o DTV prawie rok temu.

I confirm, exactly as it appears in the passport. In my case, it was issued by the "Konsul w Hanoi" and that’s exactly how I entered it. Approved without any additional documents in 5–6 days. I applied in Hanoi for DTV almost a year ago.
