Hi. I’m looking to apply from vietnam via Muay Thai route. Where is the fastest processing embassy?

What about opinions on Laos? Am I better off going to Vietnam?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers on applying for a Thai visa via the Muay Thai route from Vietnam and compares processing times at embassies in Vietnam and Laos. It is suggested that the embassy in Hanoi might be more favorable than Ho Chi Minh City, with a requirement for 6 months of bank statements. Additionally, Laos has an average approval time of 3-4 weeks, while Vietnam often processes applications within 10 business days. The fastest processing location in Asia is noted to be Taipei, with potential same-day or next-day approvals if all paperwork is correctly submitted.

From what I've read recently, Hanoi is recommended over hcmc right now. They do ask for 6 months of bank statements

Laos average approval is 3-4 weeks. Vietnam often within 10 business days. Fastest processing in Asia is still Taipei but you need to be on point with the paperwork. Can be still approved same day or next day.

There are recent posts from Vietnam, Jakarta showing approval without 3 months seasoning. Submit 6 months of statements end balance should be 500k. Taipei is the same, i got mine from there in Dec with 6tmhs of statements and a 500k deposit 10 days old. I know recent approvals from Taipei with similar deposits. You can email the embassies also to confirm, things can change on a weekly basis. Waiting another 6 weeks before applying so you have 3 months seasoning is good, can help your application as well.
