What should I put as the 'accommodation name' for my DTV application in Thailand if I'm renting a house without a formal name?

Hello everyone,

I have a question. Me and my husband rented a house in Thailand. I am applying for DTV now in Vietnam but I don’t know what to put here in “accommodation name” 😅 it is a house so it doesn’t have a name. What did you put here?

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a DTV visa, if your rented house in Thailand does not have a formal name, you can list it as "House" or "Private House". If it's part of a gated community, use the community's name, or simply specify the type of accommodation, such as "Townhouse" or "AirBnB". You may also want to check your rental contract for any associated names or identifiers.

If the house you rented is in a gated society, just write the name of the society. If it's a standalone house not in a gated society, just write "House", "Townhouse", "AirBnB" etc.

yeah I searched in the group and there was not any other question or answer on this matter. But judging by the comments, I think I’ll put the house number 😅 just hoping it wouldn’t cause any problem

I think you just put Private House. I did similar when applied for Japanese visa.

Check your contract for the info, if it's in Thai, use google translate to find clues on name of the place. Or just book another accommodation with free cancellation.

our contract is in thai amd english but on both it is just the address of the house… no name. I mean who names their house🤣 I have never seen it before so I thought there would be people with same experience who already got their DTV
