Given that the applicant is enrolling in a 1-year course, should the intended departure date in the application be up to 360 days after the intended date of arrival, but no more? Or only up to 180 days?
Answer summary
When filling out the visa application for a 1-year course in Thailand, the intended departure date should generally be set at no more than 180 days after your intended date of arrival, despite the course duration being 1 year. This is advised due to the need to have a proof of intended departure that aligns with standard requirements, as extensions are not guaranteed.

Since extensions aren’t guaranteed, you’ll generally need some sort of proof of intended departure on or before the 180 day mark.
Anonymous participant I understand. As per posts made in the past (similar situation), it should be less that 180 days in the application too. All the best.
For the application form, should the intended departure date be up to 360 days after arrival (since the course lasts that long and an extension is possible), or only 180 days, since I’ll need to renew my stay? I personally plan to stay for the full year, but I want to make sure I fill in the form (not TDAC) correctly.
