Hi, guys! Problem with filling out the Thai e-visa form. It will not accept any document, photo, screenshot, anything, into the box for proof of location.

My attempts have been with jpeg and PDF, and the file well under the 3mb size. Other attachment boxes go blue, but this remains white with a dashed surround. It will open by clicking the eye, but will not permanently attach itself. What to do?

Mick John: Three things that have worked for me when my browser starts having problems:

1. Clear the browser cache, and if that doesn't work

2. Close and re-open the browser, and if that doesn't work

3. Shut down and re-start the computer

I had the same problem which only came about because I didn’t read the instructions properly. I nearly gave up, before checking myself (dumbass) and reading the instructions properly again.

So if it asks for a particular file format, don’t assume that other formats will be accepted.

I usually browse for the image, not drag and drop on computer. Screenshots are often not allowed, not sure about proof of location. I scan all documents or download as PDFs. I use my driver's License and scan and save as JPG.

I did have some issues with the website and changed browser (Chrome worked whereas Firefox didn't), but it was a different issue than yours.

I can only suggest a different browser or device. I've had issues with drag and drop in the past, so only use browse to find file. My license file is only 47kb and is a jpg file.
