I applied for my wife for the dtv spouse

I have my dtv since last year. Now I got an email that the request got canceled because:

Your visa application has been cancelled. You have entered your name incorrectly.

The name is correct written same like on the passport also with middle name. I try to contact the embassy in Frankfurt Germany via phone and email since a week. No response

Any ideas ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is facing a cancellation of their wife's DTV spouse visa application due to a name error, despite claiming the name matches her passport. They are unable to reach the embassy in Frankfurt for assistance. Commenters offer various advice, pointing out the necessity for the wife to apply herself, the importance of ensuring the name is entered correctly without special characters, and the necessity of contacting the embassy.

You can't apply for your wife, your wife needs to apply for herself as the visa will be for her

You can't use special characters such as ö ü etc, it must be exactly as in the >>>MRZ>>> field.

Be extremely careful as the OCR can misread and enter incorrect characters for the biodata page. Triple check and edit if necessary after uploading, then save.

Are you German, or what is your nationality, have you double checked your full name, including and middle name is exactly in your passport, when they replied did they use your name, is that correct?

Otherwise go to the Embassy but not today , as 10 Dec is a Thai public holiday!
