Agent Fee and fast rack services

I have been quoted 20,000 baht for an agent to help assist my Muay Thai DTV. Does anyone know what they do exactly do for for 20,000 baht?

Also, what does the fat track option mean? As that is also included in the package.

Total cost including 6 month (x2 week), Muay Thai course. 50,000baht.

Any info appreciated. 🤔🫡
Answer summary
The post discusses the high cost (20,000 baht) of hiring an agent to assist with the Muay Thai DTV visa application. Responses from the community suggest that agents offer little value, as the application process can be handled independently, primarily involving filling out forms online and gathering necessary documents. Many users share their experiences, advising against using agents due to their limited effectiveness and additional costs. They recommend applying directly through the Thai embassy or a more budget-friendly gym that doesn't charge extra for visa assistance.

I got quoted similarly so I just went with another gym who charged no extra fee for the DTV documents. This 50k fee is a scam and a cash grab from your gym. In the end I payed 20k for 6 month 2x per week training course. I then payed the visa fee directly to the Thai embassy. Save the money, apply by yourself.

Take a look at our DTV page, we’ve helped 50-60 students and only charge for the actual training:

I've seen many people ask this. Doing it yourself is always an option for those with the time. However, a professional agency is for those who value convenience, expertise, and a seamless experience. Ultimately, it depends on whether you prioritize the lowest price or the highest security for your visa status

Asked almost daily. Use SEARCH.

Agents for DTV is pointless. It’s a form you fill out and would have to spend more time telling the agent your info than simply filling it out yourself. The majority of the time you spend is producing the documents that you need to upload, and you would have to build those whether you use an agent or not.

Not only do they not add value they literally make it longer and more complex as well as draining your money for nothing

Take control of you future, do the application yourself, agents are waste of money, and can not help you when you apply in an Embassy outside of Thailand, where you have to stay for the whole duration of the applicationproces.

Don’t jump through loopholes, and do it the way it is supposed to be done, and you will get invaluable information by researching and applying by your self.

Don't waste your money. An agent can do very little. Unlike for extensions / actions within Thailand at local immigration, the DTV application happens with the foreign Thai embassy within your juristiction of residency. The only thing you really need to watch out for a "soft power" DTV visa is a reputable Muay Thai school that has successfully made people get a DTV in the past. The actual application process is a structured online / e-Visa process. Don't get ripped off.
