Greetings, I have applied for Thai Pass and waiting to receive but I may not receive it before my scheduled flight departs. I could receive it during the transit by e-mail (30 hours flight). All other documentation is in order. What would happen if I arrived to Bangkok airport, without the Thai Pass in hand but pending? How do they handle or do they handle exceptions on arrival?

Summary so far

The user is concerned about traveling to Bangkok without having received their Thai Pass before their scheduled flight. They want to know how exceptions are handled at the airport if they arrive without the pass. Comments unanimously highlight that without an approved Thai Pass, the user will not be allowed to check in for their flight.

I allowed an EXCEPTION for this post...we usually refer all Thailand Pass questions to a helpful stranded expats forum on facebook

SORRY...

YOU CANNOT CHECK IN FOR YOUR FLIGHT TO THAILAND WITHOUT AN APPROVED THAILAND PASS... PERIOD !

Do not go to the airport...

You will NOT board the flight.
