What should I do if I can't log into the Thai E-visa website to apply for a Non-O visa after my retirement visa issues?

Hi everyone, I’ve had my retirement visa for 5 years, but unfortunately early this year I didn’t get a exit stamp in my passport when I had to return to the UK for an operation on my heart. When I returned to Thailand immigration still let me back in the country and said to go to jomtiem immigration to tell them, which I did.

They were very helpful and said that I would have to return on a 60 day Non o visa then apply for my retirement visa again, that’s easier said than done, it has to be done through the Thai E - visa website but for some reason I am unable to log in, I’ve tried everything but still won’t let me log in. So I am going back now on a 60 day tourist visa now with my Thai wife and hopefully I can sort something out when I’m there, more advice on what to do next maybe. Unless anyone on here can provide my some good advice on what to do.

Cheers
Answer summary
The user has held a retirement visa for five years but faced issues when returning to Thailand without an exit stamp. Immigration advised them to reapply for a retirement visa via a 60-day Non-O visa, but they are unable to access the Thai E-visa website. Suggestions from community comments include options for starting over with a 90-day Non-O visa, troubleshooting technical issues with the E-visa site, and converting a tourist visa to a Non-O from within Thailand.

There is a lot that isn't clear in your post. "So I am going back now on a 60 day tourist visa". How did you get that visa without logging into the thai E-Visa site or are you returning on visa exempt? Did you leave on the retirement visa without a re-entry visa?

This is all because you didn't get an exit stamp at the airport when you left Thailand ?

Are you sure you don't mean a re-entry stamp ?

That happened to me once. I why to the embassy in Kolkata and got a tourist visa. When I arrived in Thailand I went to the immigration department and converted it to the non immigrant O visa. 90 days later I converted that to the retirement or family visa. It was a experience that took time, but it got done.

Mike Kirkham you can get the non-O at your immigration office in Thailand, if you still have a bank account here.

Mike Kirkham I'm new to getting a Thai visa but it sounds to me like you have an tech issue not a Thai Visa issue in this instance. Go through all the internet connection tests then try to access the site on another computer if it all checks out. You didnt mention it but are you trying to login using a specific username and password? I suspect you must sort out the issue on this side of things then deal with Thai Immigration.

You have no option but to start over with a new 90 day Non-O visa. You can convert a tourist entry to a Non-O based on being over 50 assuming you already have a Thai bank account, but they may well want to see 800k baht coming into your bank as a fresh overseas transfer to do so. It should cost 2000 baht.
