What should I do if I'm returning to Thailand with only a visa exemption while waiting for a Non-O visa?

Hello 🙏â˜ș

I hope someone have any advice on my situation as its stressing me outtttt.

In february me and my thai boyfriend and our 2 babies flew from Sweden to Thailand. The plan was to get married and then convert visa exempt to non o visa. But the marriage part took such a long time due to paperwork being wrong and stuff. We only got married a couple of days before my visa exempt extension was finished. So I had to do a boarder bounce by land to get 60 new visa exempt days. After the 60 days I got another extension and before that was finished we flew back to Sweden for one month holiday.

My plan was to get the non o visa from here and fly back with that. To apply from sweden though its more than 1 month waiting at the moment so I wont have time to get a non o visa from here 😭 (ive spoken to embassy already)

I am terrrrrified to fly back to Thailand with no visa and trying to enter on another visa exempt to convert into a non o visa. Anyone have been in similar situtation with 2 visa exempts and trying for a 3rd but having a "valid" reason for it?

Im travelling with my thai hustband and our 2 babies back to thailand. I have my marriage documents with me.

Is there any other visa I can apply for ? Or would even a tourist visa be better?

Any help is appriciated. Thank you so much 🙏â˜ș

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on returning to Thailand with no valid visa after a series of complications with their marriage and visa application process. They initially entered Thailand on a visa exemption, got married shortly before the expiration of that visa, and had to do a border run to extend their stay. With their current stay in Sweden, they are unable to obtain a Non-O visa in time for their return flight. They express fear regarding the immigration process upon re-entry and inquire about alternate visa options while traveling with their Thai husband and children, including the possibility of a tourist visa.

I wonder what is the reason the embassy (in Stockholm?) says that it takes about 1 month for them to issue a Non O visa as married to a Thai to you?

I guess it has do do with your children’s that makes matters more complicated than otherwise

I am married to a woman who has Thai (and Swedish) citizenship (with now adult children’s). I applied for a Non O E-Visa based on being married to a Thai woman on Monday afternoon and I received my E-visa to my email at 5 a clock this afternoon. When no additional supporting documents have been requested, I have usually received my visa 1 -3 days after the application for your information.
